This insightful masterclass on money management, along with the An Post Money Manager, our smart budgeting app, not only provided clarity on key financial principles, but demonstrated to our employee community how to get smart with spending so they can do more with their money. With the An Post purpose centered around improving the quality of life in Ireland, focusing on our people is key to demonstrating our commitment to empowering their financial well-being. Happy International Women’s Day! To celebrate International Women’s Day, two special postage stamps celebrating the work of Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and featuring two pioneering Irish scientists, Professor Jocelyn Bell Burnell, astrophysicist and Professor Aoife McLysaght, geneticist, have been unveiled by Minister James Lawless T.D., Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Designed by Detail Design agency, the stamps feature portraits of each woman by artist Steve Doogan. An Post is celebrating with St. Patrick’s Festival this year, issuing a set four colourful festival themed stamps. Launched by Patrick O’Donovan, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and Charlie McConalogue, Minister of State with responsibility for Sport and Postal Policy, the stamps issue in time to allow for posting cards and parcels worldwide ahead of this St. Patrick’s Day. Also attending the unveiling were Kieran Mulvey, Chairperson An Post Richard Tierney, CEO St Patrick’s Festival and Jess Whelan, stamp designer, Detail design studio. The ‘W’ rate stamp and first day cover feature are available to buy at anpost.com/stpatricksday  The stamps are by Detail Design studio and feature a creative design which incorporates the snake as it ‘parades’ from bottom to the top of the stamp, capturing the event’s fun, energy and playfulness. The various colourful elements evoke the exciting cultural and community activities organised as part of St Patrick’s Festival each year.

At An Post, we believe that connection is at the heart of everything we do, and there’s no better way to share that than through sending love. Whether through letters, parcels or shared moments, we bring people together. This Valentine’s weekend, as part of our Send Love campaign, we partnered with Your Friend My Friend to continue The An Post Love Run series a unique and heartwarming way to connect. Participants ran along a heart-shaped 5K route lined with post boxes, sending postcards to loved ones near and far. But this was about more than just a run it was about building new connections, celebrating friendships, and fostering a sense of community and inclusion. Whether they ran for romance, friendship or simply the joy of movement, every step taken was a reminder and celebration that love and connection know no boundaries nor distance.
