This year, we partnered with the The LEGO Foundation to enable as many children as possible to engage in creative play on the first ever #InternationalDayofPlay. From an eco-playground in Ukraine to creative workshops in South Africa, the International Day of Play Community Fund supported nearly 300 projects across 6 countries, benefitting more than 40,000 children so far. We believe that play is something that every child should enjoy every day. Together with Paramount, our World Mental Health Day Community Fund has so far funded more than 80 community projects across 10 countries. We're proud to have partnered with Paramount on this initiative, part of its ongoing commitment to foster awareness and support mental health and well-being around the world. 🎉 As part of our ongoing partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), we've just launched 3 new community funds in the United States. #AWSInCommunities Building on the success of last year's funds in Gilroy and Hayward in California, we're excited to be back this year to support more people in the region to start or expand community projects. One of the projects that received funding last year was the Senior Meals program at Spectrum Community Services in Hayward. This year, in partnership with ServiceNow, we launched community funds in 9 countries to support projects focused on decarbonisation. With an investment of $1.1 million from ServiceNow (https://lnkd.in/gCNKuFHp), a total of 38 groups have been awarded funding and we are excited to see their projects come to life in the months ahead! There’s a wide range of impactful projects underway, including neighbourhood recycling initiatives, a campus microforest, solar energy projects and various educational programmes. This investment builds on a 2023 pilot, which funded ten projects across Germany and Ireland, impacting almost 6,000 people so far. Together with Paramount, we have just launched the World Mental Health Day Community Fund, a new multi-region mental health and well-being focused community fund. The initiative, which is funded by Paramount, will support communities to start or expand projects that positively impact mental health and well-being. With grants of up to $2,000 available, the World Mental Health Day Community Fund will support up to 200 community projects across 10 countries (the UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, France and Chile). The fund is part of Paramount’s ongoing commitment to foster awareness and support mental health and well-being around the world.
