At Deciphex, the announcement of the new EU AI regulations for Artificial Intelligence was a critical trigger for us. With the EU AI Act now in force, we needed to quickly ensure that our teams—particularly our software engineers, quality assurance, and regulatory specialists—are fully prepared to meet these stringent new standards. To address these challenges and leverage the opportunity to position ourselves as leaders in responsible AI usage, we engaged Star’s regulatory consultancy services for targeted training. Star’s team quickly understood our unique challenges. Their consultative approach during the preparation phase was essential in crafting a training program that aligned with our specific objectives. The training was tailored for our key team members who needed to be equipped to navigate the new regulatory landscape confidently. The training sessions were well-structured, with exercises and examples relevant to our specific product context. This made it easier for our teams to understand and apply the regulations directly to their work. The trainer’s, Antonina Burlachenko, deep expertise in the EU AI Act, medical device software requirements, and practical experience in medical software engineering was evident throughout the program.
