A big thank you to Malone College for having members of the team in to speak to their GCSE Construction class earlier this week. 🏫 Malone College had tried to get involved with our upcoming event with Open Doors, running from March 17th-22nd, but found it was fully booked. Always happy to help out, our team made sure to schedule in a time to speak to the class. 💬 We spoke about Hamilton Dock, the cutting-edge new hotel in Belfast's Titanic Quarter. ⛴️ 🏨 This hotel will have 135 bedrooms, 93 aparthotel bedrooms, two restaurants, two bars, a gym, public seating and a car park when it opens. A big thank you to NI Builder for the write up on Phoenix Integrated Primary School in Cookstown. 🏫 This phased development of the existing primary school was completed in Summer 2024 - with plenty of time to spare before the start of the school year! 🍎📝 We engaged DCDigital Ltd. who ensured that the BIM delivery adhered strictly to the client's standards. 🤝 By using a Common Data Environment (CDE), we ensued that all the information was up to date, giving stakeholders another level of security. 🔒 This project would not have been possible without RPP Architects Ltd, McAdams, TAYLOR+BOYD LLP and Delap & Waller. This was part of Ganson's Silica Dust Health & Safety month this January, where staff on all our sites will benefit from informative toolbox talks and training on the topic. 🦺🧰 Silicosis is a severe, progressive lung disease that impacts how your lungs absorb oxygen. Silicosis can't be cured, but it 𝘤̲𝘢̲𝘯̲ be prevented. 🫁  Silica dust is created when working on silica containing materials like concrete, mortar and sandstone (also known as respirable crystalline silica or RCS). #ganson #healthandsafety #silicadust #silicasafetymonth
