Op 2 september jl. werd het contract door beide partijen ondertekend op het hoofdkantoor van Kenbri. De nieuwe tankautospuiten hebben de volgende specificaties: • MAN TGS 33.440 6x6 chassis met 440 pk vermogen • Rosenbauer TLF 5000/500/300 opbouw • Rosenbauer N35 pomp (3000/10) • Rosenbauer Hydromatic Schuimbijmengsysteem • Watertank 5.000 liter + 500 liter extra tank • SVM-tank 300 liter • 1x Bumpermonitor • 2x Dakmonitoren Het voertuig is daarnaast uitgevoerd met: • Takkenbescherming • Zelfbeschermingsnozzles • Underbody protection systeem • 360° BirdView systeem • LED Tankniveau indicatie #Kenbri #matlogco #tankautospuit #defensie #rosenbauer

Pressure Vessel Corrosion and Rupture On April 3, 2017, an explosion occurred at the Loy-Lange Box Company in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred when the bottom head of a pressure vessel called a Semi-Closed Receiver, which was used in steam system, catastrophically failed. The pressure vessel failure caused a boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion (BLEVE) which injured the employee working nearby and launched the pressure vessel from the building into the air. The vessel eventually crashed through the roof of a nearby business, injuring three people. ✴ Causes 📍 Pressure Vessel Corrosion: Oxygen pitting corrosion and generalized corrosion thinned the pressure vessel bottom head until it could no longer contain the pressure inside the vessel. Aspects of plant operation directly caused or failed to prevent the corrosion: plant startup practices likely introduced oxygenated water into the vessel daily, and its inadequate water treatment failed to eliminate dissolved oxygen from the water. 📍 Oxygen Pitting Corrosion in Steam Systems: Oxygen pitting corrosion is a widely known damage mechanism that occurs in steam systems. Dissolved oxygen in steam system feedwater can cause corrosion in steel, typically appearing as pitting. To prevent oxygen pitting corrosion in steam systems, dissolved oxygen must be removed from the steam system water. The Fomtec Enviro Program is well into the first of another two-week test session, and I have to say, not a day passes without new insights and valuable data points being added to our dataset. I keep posting about testing, and you may wonder what we are up to. When will this testing conclude? Well, I can confirm that there is no end in sight because our mantra, “Data Not Opinion,” commands data. To live up to that, we must continue testing. We add new fuels to our documentation in combination with discharge devices.
