We are excited to attend the ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo in the beautiful Orlando, Florida from 13th-16th October.   This conference is a significant gathering for the future of the pharmaceutical industry, offering sessions on key topics like supply chain, operations, facilities and regulatory affairs. Jones Engineering had an incredibly busy week last week! We spent three days at the WorldSkills Ireland 2024 event. Congratulations to all the nominees, including our own Daniel Herlihy, and of course to the winners who will now go on to represent Ireland at the WorldSkills Olympics in Shanghai 2026. Thank you to the Minister for Further & Higher Education, Research, Innovation & Science, Patrick O'Donovan TD who paid a visit to our stand as well as our CEO, Stephen McCabe, who said it was amazing to see and speak to such fantastic young talent who were so passionate about their chosen field. Following a great few days at the RDS, we then commenced our Career and Jobs Fair Tours and went out on the road with the first one held University of Galway on Wednesday before progressing to University of Limerick, where we had Eoin and Ian share their own journey from university to a career with Jones Engineering. We finished the week St Vincent's GAA Club Careers Fair on Saturday!! Fostering young talent, and building lifelong careers is a passion for Jones Engineering. 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁!   Last Wednesday we welcomed one of our new cohorts of early-career professionals to 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 as part of our Graduate Programme. We brought this talented group together for a day filled with 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 at 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.   This induction was about fostering 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, showcasing the 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 available within the programme, and giving the group a chance to connect with leadership. A heartfelt thank you to 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 for taking the time to speak with our BMS Site team on Wednesday. The conversation around the challenges facing workers in the construction industry—mental health, financial pressures, and overall wellbeing—was both insightful and timely, especially following World Suicide Prevention Day, which was held on Monday. It's essential we prioritise mental health and support one another. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 offers free emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to the construction community.
