Collen’s CEO, Kara Stuart and representatives from our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee, Evan H., Dawn Dwyer and Jacqueline Wildish, recently visited the LauraLynn Foundation and presented a donation of €15,000 to the charity. The charity was chosen by Collen employees, giving a wider voice to what matters to our people and an inclusive approach to giving back. The partnership was facilitated by Business in the Community Ireland. We are honoured to stand alongside LauraLynn and contribute to their incredible work providing vital services for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Collen is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark McGreevy and John McDonnell as Independent Non-Executive Directors to the Collen Construction Group Board of Directors. Mark possesses over 25 years of Tier One general contracting expertise, both locally and internationally. With his extensive background at the C-Suite and Board Executive level, he brings significant experience in Business Performance, Value Creation, and Risk Management. His diverse background within the construction sector aligns well with Collen's future strategic direction. John is a retired partner and former Chairperson of PwC Ireland. During his 39 years with PwC, he held numerous Irish and Global leadership roles and was the lead audit partner to the firm’s largest and most complex clients. He also provided the full range of consulting services to these entities. John brings extensive private and public sector experience in Finance, Accounting, Risk, Regulatory, Governance and Strategy. Last week, we raised a total of €11,882.91 for the LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice! We had the privilege of presenting this donation to Niamh Doyle, who joined us on behalf of LauraLynn and shared the incredible impact of their work supporting children and families across the country.   What started as a fun team initiative at Grange Power—a €5 fine for phones going off in meetings—quickly grew into something remarkable as a considerable amount was collected from fines over the course of the year. SDCL generously matched the funds raised.
