A warm Kerry welcome is in order for Niall Breslin and his supporters who are heading for Kerry for the finish line of the main annual A Lust For Life fundraising event for 2024. Following a kayak on the Shannon, Niall and his team will cycle to Kerry from Limerick on Saturday 14th September, and will climb Carrauntoohil on Sunday 15th. We 💚 the 'why', the driving motivation behind the impact A Lust For Life aims to make for the youth of Ireland. The setting of Kerry for the culmination of this extraordinary feat of endurance to simply raise funds and awareness about their programmes... is perfect. Best of luck to everybody involved, and we hope our beautiful county inspires you in your mission. #discoverkerry #makeitkerry #meetinkerry WorkLiveKerry ( discoverkerry.com) Kerry Convention Bureau #philanthropy
“Do it for the youth and kin, but also do it for the child within”. Why are we ‘Rising up’ for youth mental health? We are not only doing it for the youth of today. We are doing it for the child within ourselves that grew up in an Ireland that never allowed us speak or be different. The news this week reminds us all of our dark past. I think of those friends and peers whose childhood was taken from them. They are the strongest people I know. As Joe Strummer said “the future is unwritten”. This collab with my friend and gem of a human @joecaslin highlights our hopes A Lust For Life and the Rising team want to try help and write a better future. We need your support.
