🥁🥁🥁 We are thrilled to announce Matvey Kukuy's joining as a co-founder of Keep! “Why is everything related to alerting so painful?” is a question that Matvey became obsessed with long ago. He left his job and founded a startup, Amixr Inc., dedicated to helping on-call engineers like himself live better lives. The product is what's today known as Grafana Labs OnCall! With his significant contributions to the present on-call industry, Matvey now embarks on a mission to shape the future of AIOps 🚀 Check out Matvey’s first blog post with us, where he shares his vision and plans for Keep: https://lnkd.in/dJSrAdaF, and join us by warmly welcoming him to the fam! We've added a new feature in Keep: alert tabs! Now, within custom presets, you can organize your alerts with views that matter. How it works: * Presets (Backend Filters): Define specific criteria for your alerts at the backend. For example, create a preset for “Team A” to filter alerts relevant to that team. * Tabs (Frontend Filters): Within each preset, organize alerts into tabs such as “Firing”, “Dismissed”, and “Resolved”. This frontend filtering lets you quickly navigate and manage alerts based on their status. This feature was developed after a lot of valuable feedback from our users. It is designed to make your alert management clearer and more efficient, improving how you handle alerts day-to-day.

🚀 Enhancing Alert Management with Advanced Extraction Rules on Keep’s Platform At Keep, we’re always looking for ways to streamline incident management and make life easier for developers and system administrators. One of our standout features is the Extraction Rules within our platform, designed to maximize flexibility and control over alert data. 🔍 What are Extraction Rules? Extraction Rules allow you to extract and transform alert attributes from existing data dynamically. For instance, from an alert with some name like "[P1] [Firing] [Backend] [GCP] High CPU on Backend Service", you can automatically extract critical identifiers like P1, Firing, Backend, and GCP into separate attributes. This simplifies managing and responding to alerts by providing more granular control over the alert properties. 💡 Key Features of Extraction Rules: 1. Pre-formatting Flexibility: Run extraction rules before the alert is standardized to Keep’s format. This is incredibly useful when integrating alerts from various sources that you can’t directly control. Simply route them to our generic webhook endpoint, and let the pre-formatting rules do the rest. 2. Conditional Execution: Utilize CEL (Common Expression Language) conditions to specify which alerts should trigger the extraction. This means rules can be as specific as you need—like triggering only for alerts from Kibana or when the alert name contains [P1]. 3. Code Manageability: Manage your extraction rules via code, which allows you to keep them in source control. This ensures that any updates to your rules are automatically synced to your Keep tenant when you commit changes, making maintenance and version control seamless. 🔗 Learn More and Get Started Ready to simplify your alert management? Dive deeper into our extraction capabilities and see detailed code examples at https://lnkd.in/dqWjCA_m. 💬 We’d love to hear from you! If you’re using extraction rules, share your experiences and how they’ve helped streamline your operations. Or if you’re curious about implementing them, drop us a message!
