Being part of the first-ever Learning & Development convening (A moment in history!) for the impact sector was a powerful reminder of what happens when belief meets courage. It takes both to believe in something and to take the leap to create something radical. Whenever we hear of L & D, it is usually combined with a broader umbrella such as HR or some other vertical but this was one of a kind, it was specific with the target audience in mind. In this space which was meant for the ‘enablers’, people felt seen, valued, and connected—a tribe where sharing what we do and why it matters came naturally. There was so much to offer and receive. In the social sector, collaboration brings us closer to our shared purpose, and this group has the potential to be a catalyst for that. 4th Wheel Social Impact in collaboration with ATE Chandra foundation created this impact report - Impact Assessment of L & D programs in India which was shared and discussed during the gathering and brought back the importance of continuously having a ‘systems lens’ as that was rated the least in the study. I am looking forward to building something together and solving issues of poverty together, one intervention at a time. Thank you A.T.E. Chandra Foundation for getting us together!
