  • BEL partners with IIM Rohtak for leadership excellence. Mr Vikraman, Director (HR), BEL, this week inaugurated the Management Development Programme for BEL HR executives titled "Transformational Trailblazers" at IIM Rohtak. The programme is designed to empower HR professionals with the tools necessary for leading organisational transformation and fostering innovation within the company. Currently, 3 programmes are on for BEL Executives at IIM Rohtak: "Advance Leadership Programme" for senior management , "Transformational Trailblazers" for HR Executives and "Financial Front-runners" for Finance executives.

  • BEL has expanded its footprint in software development with the inauguration of its new Software Development Centre in Delhi. This centre will focus on developing applications for both defence and non-defence sectors. Mr Manoj Jain, CMD, BEL, inaugurated the centre today, in the presence of Mr Rajnish Sharma, Director (Bengaluru Complex). BEL's software division has already demonstrated expertise in developing complex, high-quality software solutions. The company's software intensive systems are deployed in challenging operational environments, empowering the nation's armed forces.

  • Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has taken a significant step forward by establishing a Regional Product Support Centre (RPSC) at the Central Ordnance Depot in Agra. This is BEL's first RPSC within an Army establishment's premises, serving as a single point of contact for all BEL-supplied equipment in the Agra AOR zone. The RPSC Agra was inaugurated by Major General Vikram Taneja, Additional Director General Ordnance Services (ADGOS), in the presence of Ms Prabha Goyal, Executive Director (NM-BEL), Brigadier Ashok Manocha, Brig OS, Army HQ, Brigadier RR Yadav, Commandant COD Agra, and Mr MT Murali, General Manager (PS/CO), BEL. This strategic move aims to reduce the Turn Around Time (TAT) for repair and support services provided by BEL to its Defense customers. By having a dedicated support center within the Army establishment, BEL has reiterated its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction.

    BEL receives orders worth over Rs. 500 Cr Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured additional orders of more than Rs. 500 Crores since its last disclosure on September 11, 2024. The major orders received include EMI shelters, AMC for Integrated Air Command and Control System nodes, upgrade / spares for gun systems, spares for radars, communication system, etc. With these orders, BEL has now accumulated orders totalling Rs. 7,689 Cr in the current financial year.

    BEL & IAI, Israel, form Joint Venture Company Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Israel’s leading aerospace and defence company, have announced the establishment of a joint venture company (JVC), which has been incorporated in the name of BEL IAI AeroSystems Private Ltd. The JVC with its registered office in Delhi shall be the single point of contact (SPOC) for extending long-term product support to the Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) systems of India’s Defence Forces. The partnership marks another significant step in cementing the relationship between the two companies that have a long history of association for strategic programmes. BEL and IAI are collaborating in several joint programmes for the Tri-services. The JVC has been set up for providing life cycle support, both technical and maintenance related, for MRSAM air-defence systems of the country. MRSAM is an advanced, path-breaking air and missile defence system that provides protection against a variety of aerial threats. It was jointly developed by IAI and DRDO for India’s Defence Forces and is currently used by the Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy and also Israeli Defence Forces. The system includes an Advanced Phased Array Radar, Command and Control shelter, mobile launchers and interceptors with an advanced RF seeker. The formation of the JVC is in line with the Indian Government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The JVC will leverage the capabilities of both IAI and BEL.

    BEL has a strong bond with Rajasthan and has plans to set up base in the state by operationalising a Regional Product Support Centre and Software Development Centre at Jodhpur, Mr Manoj Jain, BEL CMD said at the 'Rising Rajasthan CPSEs Conference 2024’, held in New Delhi today. Mr Manoj Jain, one of the three guest speakers from PSUs, briefed the gathering about BEL's constant engagement with Rajasthan-based MSMEs, start-ups, academia & research institutions. He said BEL is interested in working closely with the Rajasthan Govt. to provide cutting-edge technological solutions for the state. The event was attended by senior officials of BEL including Mrs Prabha Goyal, Executive Director (National Marketing), and Mr Prahalad P S, General Manager ( Civilian Marketing).
