    𝐁𝐇𝐄𝐋 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫 Under the aegis of the Ministry Of Heavy Industries, the 10th #internationaldayofyoga was celebrated with great enthusiasm today by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited at its township in Noida. Sh. H.D. Kumaraswamy, Hon’ble Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries graced the event with his presence. Sh. Kamran Rizvi, Secretary (HI) and Sh. Vijay Mittal, Joint Secretary (HI) were also present on the occasion. Sh. K. Sadashiv Murthy, CMD, BHEL, and Functional Directors on the board of BHEL participated in the event, along with other senior officials of MHI & BHEL.   Addressing the gathering, Sh. Kumaraswamy said that, “Yoga is India’s Gift to the World”, and that the International Day of Yoga has positioned India as the ‘Spiritual Guru’ to the world. He further urged everyone to take up Yoga as a part of their daily lives and reap its benefits.   The highlight of the celebration was a one-hour yoga session held at the parade ground of the BHEL township in Noida. Over 400 participants performed Yoga Asanas as per the Common Yoga Protocol issued by the Ministry of Ayush, GoI.     𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐰𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐢 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 (𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞), 𝐁𝐇𝐄𝐋 On his appointment as Director on the Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, 56, has assumed charge as Director (Finance) of the Maharatna Public Sector engineering and manufacturing enterprise.   Prior to this, Mr. Dwivedi has been General Manager & Head - Corporate Finance in BHEL. He is a distinguished Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).   Mr. Dwivedi joined BHEL as Executive Trainee (Finance) in 1992 and brings with him rich and diverse experience of more than 32 years across various verticals encompassing business strategies, manufacturing and project construction in the power sector along with Board level exposure of holding additional charge of Director (Finance) in Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, Ranchi since September, 2022.   He has demonstrated his leadership in the areas of operations while heading the finance function at major units of BHEL. Notably, Mr. Dwivedi also exhibited his consistent target-oriented approach and steered through tough times of the company by directing the operations towards augmenting its top line as well as bottom line.   He has been instrumental in ideation of new concepts like Central Procurement Cell, New Business Models, Innovative Ordering Strategies, etc. which has already started reaping benefits for the company. His continuous focus on cost leadership through budgetary & cost controls and strong customer engagement led to strengthening of BHEL finances, instilling confidence in the stakeholders of the company.   • Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has secured two significant #orders for #supercritical #thermal #power #plants from Adani Power Limited and its subsidiary. The orders, cumulatively valued at over Rs.7,000 Crore, are for the 2x800 MW Raipur supercritical thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh and the 2x800 MW Mirzapur supercritical thermal power plant in Uttar Pradesh. BHEL's scope includes the manufacture and supply of main plant equipment, associated auxiliaries, and supervision of erection and commissioning.
