"When you educate a girl, you educate a community." This timeless proverb resonates deeply with the journey Bosch India Foundation began in 2014 when it established the ‘Pragya Niketan’ initiative. Navigating a complex social and cultural landscape, often marked by early marriages, this initiative aimed to create opportunities for young girls in rural Rajasthan. Supported by Bosch’s Primavera Trust, Pragya Niketan started humbly in two rented rooms, educating just 22 girls back then in mathematics, science, English, life skills, and critical thinking. The results were immediate. Students quickly demonstrated their academic excellence, with many earning prestigious awards like the Gargi Puraskar, and some also delivering outstanding performances in state board exams. This transformative impact inspired Bosch India Foundation to expand its efforts in 2022 with a new state-of-the-art facility in Shyampura Kacholi village. Here, the curriculum focuses on skill development, enabling the girls to apply their knowledge practically and prepare for the digital world. This two-fold approach not only bridges the rural-urban education gap, but also fosters creativity, self-expression, and leadership in the girls — equipping them to challenge societal norms and advocate for a more equitable future. On this #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild, we celebrate a decade of progress through this initiative, which continues to contribute to the larger conversation on gender equality, equal opportunities, and educational empowerment in India’s rural communities. #EmpoweringGirls #EducationForAll #SocialImpact #RuralEducation #CommunitySupport #GirlsEducation #GenderEquality #RuralEmpowerment #EqualOpportunities #BreakingBarriers #EmpowerHer #DigitalLiteracy #SkillDevelopment

From connecting with loved ones at the tap of a finger to ordering medicines from the comfort of our homes, the digital extension of our lives evolves in tandem with us, all the while accelerating the pace of an already fast-moving world. As we stand at the brink of a major technological revolution — Artificial Intelligence or #AI — these words from our founder, Robert Bosch, resonate strongly, reminding us that human necessities spark innovations. Throughout his life, whether as a precision mechanic or an automotive engineer, Bosch's unwavering belief in the transformative power of technology was rooted in one purpose: advancing the quality of human life. This dedication to the greater good was evident in his professional endeavors, where he tested new innovations and brought them within reach of the wider public. Even late into his career, he remained attuned to the pulse of technology, a rhythm that has only quickened with time. Today at Bosch, we continue to engineer a world where technology and sustainability coexist. We innovate with purpose, upholding our founder's legacy of serving humanity and driving progress. #Innovation #BetterWorld #BuildingTheFuture #Sustainability #QuoteForTheDay #RobertBosch

Dedication to geometry and physics at 15 years old laid the foundation for his precision and analytical thinking, shaping him into a skilled competitor on international stages by the age of 33. Rakshit Shastry leaves nothing to chance when he readies his pistol, takes aim, and focuses intently on his target. In our second edition of ‘Meet the Boschlers,’ we are excited to share the journey of Rakshit, a pistol shooting champion and Assistant Manager in Purchasing Project Management at Bosch Automotive Electronics India, for whom "setting targets" goes far beyond the usual business goals. Over nearly a decade-long athletic career, Rakshit has experienced the thrill of outshooting a seasoned Olympic competitor on his home turf, while also nurturing a deep ambition to one day represent his country at the Olympics. Since his debut in 2015, Rakshit has amassed an impressive 90+ medals and studded his lapel with a flurry of international achievements – including a Silver at the International Shooting Championship of Hanover, Germany in 2019, and three Bronze medals at the 51st Liberation Cup at Plzen, Czech Republic in 2023. Holding the #1 rank in the state leaderboards since 2016, he also stands out as the only marksman from Karnataka, India, to earn the prestigious "Renowned Shot" certification in all five pistol events at the 65th and 66th National Championships, and to win the decorated All India GV Mavlankar Medal for multiple events, including a national recognition in novice shooting. “Unlike other sporting events, where a boost of adrenaline can help you do more, in shooting, the same can hamper your performance. You need to stay calm, composed, and steady your hand to strike the goal,” explains Rakshit. With his sights set on upcoming international competitions, he knows that being a champion marksman requires rigorous training. For him, it means reserving just one evening a week for family while committing to intense 12-hour training sessions over the weekends. On weekdays, he seamlessly shifts from the role of a Purchasing Project Manager from 9 to 6, to that of a focused sharpshooter from 6 to 8. His advice for aspiring shooters and professionals alike: "Never underestimate the power of passion and persistence. Whether you are in the office or out on the field, it is your dedication that will set you apart. Remember to never stay stray off the course, no matter the challenges. And most importantly, enjoy the journey you embark on!” We are pleased to have had the opportunity to share Rakshit’s incredible journey with our readers. If you are looking for more stories of inspiration, stay tuned for real-life tales that embody grit, perseverance, and the spirit of determination. #MeetTheBoschlers #InspiringJourneys #WorkLifeBalance #TrueLifeStories #HealthAndWellbeing #EmployeeSpotlight #Achievements #BoschAssociates

A founder. A leader. A visionary. On his 163rd birth anniversary, we honor the spirit of our founder, Robert Bosch – an innovator and pioneer in the field of engineering and technology, and a steadfast pillar of kindness and generosity, whose wisdom and actions have been the lifeblood of our organization for over 130 years. “I would rather lose money than trust,” one of his most celebrated quotes is a mirror-image of the man himself. From influencing the upheaval of a social structure that pivoted towards viewing “wage-earners” as a cog in the machine, Bosch strongly advocated for individual agency through the revolutionary concept of “associates, not employees,” and apprenticeship programs that identified the right talents and provided them opportunities. A first for his time, he championed for inclusivity and extensive benefits for his associates, who lovingly referred to him as “Father Bosch.” A nature lover and dedicated philanthropist, Bosch has never shied away from vocalizing his opinions on matters of social significance, much beyond the workplace. Watch this video for a glimpse into the life and times of Robert Bosch, who redefined company culture and continues to inspire value systems across generations, even today.   #RobertBosch #Innovator #Legacy #Philanthropy #Inclusivity #SocialChange #Inspiration #CompanyCulture
