Cityspace’82 Architects started as a solitary practice in the year 2005. The principal architect Ar. Sumit Dhawan grew up with an architectural background, under the able guidance of his father Ar. Satish Dhawan. He has an experience of over 20 years and inevitably shares the passion with his father who built his curiosity & ushered him to make a mark in the same field. The office granted a lot of exposure and opportunities for the budding architect where he learned the fundamentals from numerous local and international architects like Dominic Dube, Anupama Kundoo, Piero, Gloria Cicionesi, Satprem Maini, etc. The firm’s principles revolve around experimentation, innovation, and creating intricate spectacles. Each of their designs perfectly balances functionality and form. Their belief revolves around making the building speak for itself visually rather than theoretically. With these empirical and multifaceted design philosophies, each of their projects started with comprehensively understanding the client’s news, kinaesthetic, and an extensive amount of research.
