Founded as a nonprofit trust in January 2015, Gender at Work India Trust (G@WI) uses an intersectional feminist approach to building institutional architectures for gender equality and inclusion within workspaces in India. We design processes for organisations including programmes, policies, and strategic goals for inclusive work cultures.

    Gender at Work India (G@WI) and Point of View (POV) are anchoring thematic virtual consultations with Indian Civil Society Organisations as part of the Beijing+30 Review Process. Together with the National CSO Steering Committee nominated by UN Women, we will host 6 virtual consultations to take stock of the progress and path forward on global gender equality agendas We invite you to the virtual consultation on Gender and Disability, co-organised by POV, and Rising Flame. 📆 : Date: 6th November, Wednesday ⏰ :Time: 2:30 PM - 5 PM (IST) ➡️ : Register: https://shorturl.at/GwESk This online consultation on Gender and Disability seeks to bring together Indian civil society organizations and listen to their experiences of working on Gender and Disability in health, economic justice, accessibility, sexual and gender-based violence and the laws, policies, and support services that govern them.     ✨ A great start to the Northern Regional Consultation in Ranchi! ✨ Discussions highlighted the importance of intersectional feminism that embraces diverse experiences and struggles. Participants shared powerful personal stories about how Adivasi and tribal communities navigate the complexities of gender and identity. 🌿 They also explored how leadership within these communities 🌱 grows from collective experiences, drawing upon cultural roots while challenging deep-rooted structural inequalities.     It's a wrap on the Srinagar Youth Consultation!✨ Day 2 was filled with heartfelt and powerful discussions on what it truly takes to nurture youth leadership against specific cultural contexts. Young changemakers emphasised the importance of collective care 🤝 and creating spaces that prioritise community well-being. Together, we explored actionable pathways for the future, ensuring that underrepresented youth voices are not just heard but leading the way in shaping policy and advocacy.🌍 We are grateful to all the participants for sharing their voices and vision for this vital dialogue.
