This is an inspiring story of how the people of Tamukhi in West Champaran through collective efforts addressed recurring flood-related challenges. By pooling their resources, they were able to hire machinery to widen the river mouth, prevent flooding in their community. Under Goonj’s Cloth for Work initiative, they were rewarded with Family kits as a recognition of their hard work and dedication.
