HT.com is one of the few major publishers to hit this milestone and we achieved it in challenging circumstances—increased competition, frequent algo changes and declining user interest in news. The past year has seen HT Digital scale several such landmarks. 1. Best-ever single-day performance in our core sites—hindustantimes.com, livehindustan.com, livemint.com on election result days (12.4 million, 11 million and 12.2 million UVs, respectively). 2. Best-ever single-day performance in HT Digital at nearly 40 million users on election results day. 3. Live Hindustan became number 1 in Comscore for the first time ever. 4. Livemint became No. 2 in Comscore last year. 5. Livemint DAUs doubled to 2.5 million in the past year. 6. Livemint became the world's fastest-growing news website in September 2023, per Press Gazette. 7. Live Hindustan video views scaled 200 million for the first time in August 2023. 8. Our regional websites HT Telugu, HT Kannada and HT Tamil hit new milestones. 9. Three times growth in Budget Day traffic and nearly double the revenue from a year ago. 10. Launch of monetisable IPs in videos. These achievements were seeded through robust editorial practices and accomplished with pretty much the same editorial team. As it happens with such feats, ours too were possible because of teamwork. When #BeyondThePlate the show was conceptualised by Chef Amrita Raichand , her husband (who also doubles up as her manager) Rahul Raichand & me our motive was clear. We wanted to do a comprehensive food show on the radio that goes beyond just giving recipes. I mean there is a recipe of the week section in the show but when you look at the larger picture - a radio show that talks about food history, origin stories of foods, food culture and also answers questions of listeners on any ingredient or aspect of food… didn’t exist in the radio space. In over 50 weeks the audio episodes on the Radio One Network across our cities & the video episodes on our million plus strong #RadioOneInternational youtube channel have both made a treasured place in the hearts of food connoisseurs and food lovers across this country. The awards had to come. 🌟⚡️We just picked up an exchange4media #GoldenMikeAward for the year 2024 in the category “Best Use of Influencer or Celebrity in a Radio Broadcast”. I’m thrilled and I wanna thank #Amrita and my colleagues at #RadioOne and most importantly my Ceo Ramesh Menon . We started it off as a pure #Mumbai local show and when #Ramesh heard a few episodes he called me and insisted we made it a national broadcast. I was being tentative taking it national because as #NationalBrandHead of the Network I am forever sensitive about anything that involves me as a pure #RadioHost lest I be perceived as someone using my position for personal gain but when ur #Ceo reposes faith in you and your broadcast skills that’s all the confidence you need🤩🙌 thank you Annurag Batra & Team #ExchangeForMedia and your #Jury for giving me a fair share of these prestigious awards over the past 12 or 13 years since their inception!
