We are excited to announce the launch of Suposhit Dadri, a nutrition-focused intervention by the SNU Community Connect Program in collaboration with PCI India team. This initiative aims to address iron/hemoglobin and vitamin D deficiencies in 10 villages of the Dadri block, focusing on pregnant and lactating women, children aged 6 months to 5 years, and adolescent girls. Our program will not only provide essential healthcare services but also empower frontline workers throughout the block, fostering a sustainable impact. Attending the national conclave by National Rural Livelihoods Mission on Food, Nutrition, Health and WASH. It is great to be associated with this journey from 2012. Great to see how much progress happened in last one decade to make the whole of Government approach a reality by leveraging this large and strong community platform of Self Help Group that united 10 crore (100 million) women from across the country for health and nutrition. With convergence with the department of Health and WCD the Rural Development department is effectively bringing impact in multiple sticky health and nutrition indicators. Those who have the least role in changing the #climate suffer its consequences the most! The farmers of Maharashtra, coastal families of Odisha or herdsmen of Rajasthan.  Hyper local solutions are much needed and several #communities have answers. The all women panel emphasised the need to listen to communities, learn from them and leverage local platforms to take local actions.
