We have all heard it before—“Put the logo on the top left.” #GoodAdsMatterRoundtable At the Brand Leaders Roundtable, some of the best minds in the industry discussed the nuances of brand visibility. Amidst the conversation, Amit Doshi shared an insightful take on why brands insist on certain parameters when promoting themselves. He cleverly framed it as a balance between art and commerce, saying… after all, advertising is commercial art, and at the end of the day, it needs to drive revenue and consumer engagement. He pointed out how even iconic ads like Fevicol, Alpenliebe, and Center Shock seamlessly incorporated branding, but they did it smartly, whether through catchy jingles that creatively had the brand’s name or through storytelling that made the branding feel natural rather than forced. “You have a story to tell, and in that story, if the product or brand needs to be introduced in the first frame, so be it.
