A year ago, we proudly launched the Sarpanch Samvaad Mobile App at Raj Bhawan, Guwahati, graced by His Excellency Shri Gulab Chand Kataria. In a time where technology plays a pivotal role in progress, Sarpanch Samvaad is helping 23,000+ Sarpanchs build transparency, accountability, and stronger community-driven governance. Over the past year, our App has evolved into a vibrant platform for sharing insights and best practices on critical issues like sanitation, education, drinking water, and agriculture. Available in 9 languages and widely used in states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Andhra pradesh, the app has proven to be a crucial resource for collaboration, learning, and leadership development. Whether it’s staying informed on rural development news or accessing the latest resources, the Sarpanch Samvaad App equips Sarpanchs with the tools they need to make informed decisions and drive impactful changes in their communities. With its news feature, Sarpanchs can stay updated on key issues like policy changes, rural infrastructure, and development programs, ensuring they are always one step ahead. The Sarpanch Samvaad Team attended a 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 hosted by USAID and Room to Read at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 10th September 2024. The event was graced by government representatives, policymakers, academicians, and advocates, all coming together to discuss the challenges and opportunities in early learning. #LiteracyDevelopment is a continuous process that begins in early childhood and extends through schooling and adulthood.
