TNS India Foundation, in collaboration with Capgemini, hosted the CSR Champions Kick-Off Encore event in Chennai, celebrating impactful partnerships and collective efforts to drive positive change. The event featured inspiring addresses from leaders, reflecting on 2024 milestones — 56 volunteering events conducted in collaboration with TNS India Foundation and other partners, positively impacting 2,343 lives. A heartfelt session with government school teachers showcased how Capgemini’s volunteering programs are transforming communities. TNS India Foundation was honoured as the Best NGO Partner 2024, and the Tech4Positive Future Challenge Program — an initiative empowering students to develop innovative tech solutions for social impact — was recognized as the Most Impactful Program of 2024, showcasing the power of collaboration and innovation. With support from Pernod Ricard India Foundation, Gopal Barde, a tomato farmer from Mheluske - Nashik, embraced sustainable practices under the Ankur-Uday Project led by TNS India Foundation. By adopting enriched vermicompost on 0.5 acre of his 4-acre farm, Gopal made significant strides in improving soil health and reducing chemical dependency. The intervention helped him reduce chemical fertilizer and pesticide use by 30%, cut input costs by ₹11,530 annually, revitalize soil by returning earthworms, and enhance water retention and soil porosity. This shift didn’t just solve challenges like wilting and flower drop - it resulted in healthier, greener crops and better yields. Gopal’s story is a shining example of how organic interventions are driving sustainable farming practices. EXL and TNS India Foundation believe in the power of mentorship to shape the next generation of tech leaders. Through our Campus to Technical Careers (C2TC) Program, we connected 43 talented mentees with 18 experienced mentors from EXL in a Capstone Program designed to foster professional growth and hands-on learning in cutting-edge technologies such as SQL, Python, Machine Learning, and Power BI. The journey began with an entrance exam, where the top 43 out of 118 students earned the opportunity to showcase their potential. Guided by EXL mentors, the mentees worked on 11 impactful projects, including solutions such as Forecasting Live Trends in Banking & Healthcare, Diabetes Prediction Using Machine Learning, Credit Card Clustering and Segmentation, and Anomaly Detection in Stock Markets. These projects demonstrated the mentee's expertise in industry-level coding and problem-solving. TNS India Foundation’s Campus to Tech-Enabled Financial Careers program, supported by Standard Chartered India, successfully hosted a Career Fest at Model College, Dombivli, Mumbai!
