The energy of the future will increasingly be transported by superconductors: cables (in many cases also submarine, if we think for example of connections to wind sources in the North Sea) capable of transporting electric current without resistance, therefore of transmitting high power without the need of high voltage. It is also possible to realise a superconducting cable made of liquid hydrogen-cooled MgB2: a scenario that would play an important role in the planet's energy future. . Celebration of ITER TF Coils completion: another important milestone for ASG Superconductors and its people. Today was, once again, an important day for both ASG Superconductors and nuclear fusion. Here in Cadarache, in the presence of the Italian Minister for Energy Development Gilberto Pichetto Fratin and the managers leading ITER Organization Fusion for Energy and ENEA , our company - along with a few others in the world - was mentioned, praised, and awarded for its work on Toroidal Field Coils and for contributing to the development of fusion energy. Just a few days ago, a similar celebration took place for the Poloidal Field Coils. These are two projects that have seen us at the forefront and, more generally, an important milestone and recognition that makes us proud and aware of our great capabilities. A special thanks, therefore, goes to all those who have contributed, over time and each for his or her role, to this adventure towards the energy of the future.
