How can you measure the impact of influencer marketing? Here’s what we learned from our case study with Dalfilo. Alberto Grigolo (UK Country Manager @ Dalfilo) shared that the Dalfilo team was initially uncertain about the impact of influencer marketing on sales. To investigate, they added “How did you hear about us” in a post purchase survey to try and understand the impact of influencers. They were surprised to see that the survey responses attributed a higher percentage of sales from influencers than their other sources of reporting said. Since confirming the impact of influencers, the team are exploring the reallocation of budget from less efficient channels so they can invest more. One other thing that Alberto shared - because Zigpoll showed there was a big gap between the true impact of influencers vs their reporting, one initiative they implemented was giving discount codes to influencers. Between the discount codes and Zigpoll surveys, they can get a much more comprehensive picture of attribution so they can make better marketing budget decisions.
