With Esauriti for the Planet, LEGAMI is revolutionizing stationery recycling. ✏️ Thanks to advanced technologies – from selection to washing, grinding, and granulation – this pilot project aims to recover plastic that would otherwise end up in landfills or incinerators. Through a territorial sharing model, 12 schools in the municipality of Bergamo were involved, with specific guidelines given to participants (such as avoiding ink, metal parts, etc.), based on a preliminary study identifying factors that could compromise the project. The collection expanded beyond just pens to include all plastic stationery items (rulers, triangles, etc.). Involving nearly 11,000 students, this initiative proves how innovation, sustainability, and collaboration can drive a positive impact. 🌱 💡 This project is still in the pilot phase, and one of its key aspects is the collection process itself. The most significant obstacle appears to be the initial phase. The company must ensure that proper sorting is essential for the project's success before it officially begins.
