We continue to optimise our upstream portfolio through strategic partnerships that support early valorisation of exploration discoveries. As part of this approach, we have agreed that Vitol will acquire interests in key assets in Côte d'Ivoire and the Republic of Congo. Vitol will acquire stakes in both producing and developing assets, including a 30% participating interest in Baleine, our first development in Côte d'Ivoire and the first Net-Zero development in Africa, and a 25% participating interest in Congo LNG, the country’s first natural gas liquefaction project. With Ecofining™, our proprietary technology, we were the first energy company to transform a traditional refinery into a biorefinery. Today, at Enilive’s biorefineries, we transform used cooking oils, animal fats and vegetable residues into advanced biofuels that lower emissions while keeping transport moving. With an expanding network of projects - starting with our recently-launched 400,000-tonne capacity plant in Gela - we aim to scale up production and contribute to the transition.
