Helge Hansen, Portfolio Manager, recently joined Brigette Reid, CEO of Frontierra, at #COP16 on the panel “Beyond Disclosure: Navigating Nature-related Data and Analytics”.   During the panel, they highlighted our joint efforts to develop a cloud-based platform that utilises space technology, empowering corporations and financial institutions to swiftly evaluate their nature-related risks and opportunities. We are delighted that Flinders Port Holdings Pty Limited, a Foresight Australia Diversified Infrastructure Trust (DIT) investment, has secured a $70 million commitment from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) to support its decarbonisation efforts. This funding will focus on electrification initiatives across FPH’s operations across seven South Australian ports to accelerate towards low and zero emissions technologies and represents the CEFC’s first investment in the maritime sector. Meena Samaan, DIT Portfolio Manager at Foresight, comments: “CEFC’s support highlights the fantastic work the team at FPH are delivering to demonstrate the transition to a more sustainable maritime sector and in turn, setting an important precedent for the decarbonisation of other maritime ports across Australia.” Foresight's DIT fund is unlisted unit trust focused on infrastructure investments across multiple sectors, including renewable energy, transportation, and water assets.
