Good morning! My name is Luca, and I am the Service and Testing Cells Leader in the Gears Business Unit at the Rivalta plant. I graduated from the Giulio Natta technical institute in Rivoli (To) as a mechanical expert. My journey at Avio Aero began in 2014 as a bench and visual gear tester. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to take on roles of increasing responsibility in the area, also thanks to the many colleagues who have supporting me over the years and have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I was a team leader and subsequently a production supervisor within the "Power" cell – dedicated to power gears - until 2021, and at the end of the same year, I joined the team working on helicopter components, as a production focal point, striving to ensure the timely and correct execution of helicopter product production, in close coordination with the entities and functions involved in the production processes. In November 2022, I then became Gears Spurs & Shafts Cell Leader to guide the team in process improvement, ensuring adherence to delivery terms and quality requirements, and pursuing, together with support entities, the Lean transformation of the area. In this Lean journey, within the cell, the Model Line for the T700 helicopter engine transmission was created: a true source of pride for the entire Rivalta team. 😊 And today, finally, I am leading the last step of our production process, as responsible for service and testing cells. With the entire team, we have the responsibility to ensure the quality of the product for our customers. But beyond work, I have another great passion... I am very active in sports during my free time! I was a semi-professional football player for several years, and now I follow my two children Niccolò and Mattia, aged 7 and 9, who love this beautiful sport at least as much as I do and have embarked on the same sporting path. #weareavioaero #portrait

Good morning! My name is Nicola, and I am the Quality Leader at the Combustors and Structures center of excellence at the Avio Aero facility in Pomigliano d’Arco (Naples). I graduated from the Polytechnic University of Naples with a degree in mechanical engineering, with a thesis on the characterization of oil pumps for high-performance engines. During my training, I also had the pleasure of doing an internship in the engine and gearbox development department at Ferrari, in Maranello. That was a very strong and qualifying experience that I remember with great pleasure for the professionalism of the people I met along my journey. I started working at Avio Aero in 2006 as an Integrated Area Quality Manager in a production area of the Pomigliano D’Arco plant. After about 10 years, I had the pleasure of taking on the role of Lead Quality Engineer, with increasing responsibilities including leading the team of inspectors and overinspectors. Later, I held the position of Production Quality Manager and had the opportunity to structure and implement all Lean transformation activities related to product quality at the site. Today, I am the Combustors Quality Leader, and my goal is to lead all quality initiatives of the center of excellence with a particular focus on Lean principles, Continuous Improvement, and a zero-defect approach, integrating and developing processes that meet business needs throughout the organization, having a direct responsibility in achieving results in synergy with other functional leaders. In my free time, I like to dedicate myself to my real passion: the piano! I studied for several years at the Conservatory, and today I continue to play whenever I have some free time. Music amuses me, it is for me the best viaticum in difficult times, and inspiration for new ideas and emotions. I am also a sports enthusiast; I practice running, indoor cycling, and bodyweight training. I also love to relax by reading good novels and dedicating myself to nature: a good book is always on my nightstand, and my garden is a remedy for the small and big worries that life reserves for us. I cannot fail to mention my other great passion: my 5 beloved grandchildren and my 3 dogs. We are a big family which I deeply love. Nicola #weareavioaero #portrait
