🇮🇹 Oggi, The Human Safety Net e Generali Italia hanno presentato a Roma il nuovo programma della nostra Fondazione per i rifugiati, che mira a creare una nuova rete di professionisti della salute coinvolgendo enti del terzo settore, società di formazione, agenzie per l’impiego e aziende sanitarie pubbliche. Il progetto offrirà formazione e inserimento lavorativo a 300 rifugiati e migranti attualmente residenti in Italia e disposti a lavorare come operatori socio-sanitari (Asa e Oss) e assistenti domiciliari nelle regioni di Lombardia, Lazio ed Emilia Romagna. Questa iniziativa risponde alla crescente domanda di servizi di assistenza e cura personale, e alla necessità di integrazione a medio e lungo termine degli stranieri attraverso il lavoro, e concretizza l’impegno di Generali a essere un Cittadino Responsabile e sblocca il potenziale delle persone che vivono in circostanze vulnerabili, ottenendo un impatto sociale misurabile nelle nostre comunità. The project will offer training and job placement to 300 refugees and migrants currently living in Italy and willing to work as socio-medical operators (Asa and Oss) and caregivers in the regions of Lombardy, Lazio, and Emilia Romagna. This initiative responds to the growing demand for assistance and personal care services, and the need for medium- and long-term integration of foreigners through work. It concretizes Generali’s commitment to being a Responsible Citizen and unlocks the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances, achieving measurable social impact in our communities. #THSNinAction #THSN4Refugees #THSNItalia 

Since 2019, Generali and Barcolana through the Women in Sailing Project promote mixed sailing among young people, fostering the creation of mixed classes and forming the basis for future team building   This year, we are taking Women in Sailing to the next level with a research study that explores the advantages of mixed teams and the limits to their diffusion. In this way, it ensure that the number of women in decisionmaking roles on board is increased in all sailing competitions. The project Women in Sailing by generali and Barcolana and the results of the survey were presented today in Trieste by the Chairman of Generali, Andrea Sironi, and the President of the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano Sailing Club, Mitja Gialuz.   Generali with the Women in Sailing trophy promotes a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
