We are seeking an experienced Hospital Technical Office Manager to join Policlinico San Donato branch in Najaf, Iraq, who will be responsible for overseeing the technical management and maintenance operations within the hospital setting. This role includes ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and efficiency of all hospital facilities and infrastructure. The individual will lead a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel, coordinating daily activities to maintain the operational standards required for a healthcare environment.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Lead and manage the technical team, providing direction and guidance on maintenance and technical activities.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring that urgent issues are addressed promptly.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for hospital infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Supervise the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, plumbing, and other hospital facilities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and hospital policies.
• Plan and manage technical projects, including facility upgrades, expansions, and renovations.
• Manage external contractors, vendors, and service providers for major maintenance and construction projects.
• Prepare reports, timelines, budgets and resource allocation plans for ongoing activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for complex technical issues or emergencies, ensuring rapid response and resolution. Investigate the root causes of recurring maintenance problems and develop long-term solutions.
• Ensure that all technical and maintenance activities comply with healthcare standards, local regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Provide and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Report to senior hospital management on the status of facilities, upcoming needs, and completed projects.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• Degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical management, facilities, or maintenance preferably in hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of hospital operations and local regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
