⚒️ 🔔 New Document from HNN 3.0 for Applicants and NCPs alike! On January 07 th – 16th 2025, the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) organized the virtual IHI Call Days for the Call 9 & 10 topics. 🔎 The IHI #Call Days aimed to inform potential applicants about the rules and procedures of the single-stage, #applicant-driven Call 9 and the two-stage Call 10, as well as about the three topics of Call 10. The aim of this document is to help Health NCPs provide their applicants with the best possible advice and support and to assist applicants in preparing a high-quality application. ⚒ 🔔 New Tool for Health Applicants and NCPs: Partner Search Tips for proposals with #Clinical #Studies  ⬇ 🔎 This tool complements the “Guidelines for Partner Search” (available at https://lnkd.in/dbyriUmA) as part of the Supporting #Tools for applicants developed by the project HNN 3.0. 🏥 📑This Annex is an useful tutorial for Applicants envisaging to include clinical studies and in need of priming for the recruitment of relevant #ClinicalCentres, covering several options for involving the clinics and centers in which the study participants are recruited in projects and the proper links and search engines to search for experienced partners. 📢 📆 Save the date: the DG R&I Policy Event "R&I to promote mental health and prevent/treat mental disorder" will be held on 18 February 2025 from 10:30 – 17:00 at the University Foundation in Brussels (Rue d’Egmont 11, 1000 Brussel / Bruxelles) 🧠 💜 #MentalHealth is getting more and more relevance in the European R&I landscape: the Call for the #BrainHealth #Partnership is expected in the WP 2025 and future events on the topic are pivotal to raise #awareness on the topic.   🔎 🤝 The aim of the event will be to showcase promising practices stemming from EU-funded research projects and match them with potential end-users such as #ministries of health, #research, #social and #culture affairs. Additionally, the event will facilitate #networking between diverse stakeholders and identify future directions for mental health research.   🎨 📕 In particular, the session on ‘The Power of the #Arts and #Culture for People’s Well-being and Inclusion’. will elaborate on the use of art and culture-based initiatives, interventions and research to promote people’s #wellbeing including #mental and #physical health, with the overall objective for people’s accession and inclusion into our European societies.    If you would like to attend this policy event, please consult the attached agenda and send an email by 31 January to  RTD-D3-ASSIST@ec.europa.eu specifying whether you will attend in person or online. As there are parallel slots, please indicate which sessions you would like to attend.   To facilitate networking and discussions, in-person attendance is strongly recommended. ✍ Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) calls are open🚀🚀🚀 ✍IHI call 9 is a single-stage, applicant-driven call with topics aligned with the specific objectives of the IHI Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. ✍ IHI call 10 is a two-stage call with topics on digital labelling of medical technologies; the European Health Data Space; and PFAS in the healthcare sector.

💫 What a succesful Hera Info Day in Rome! 🏥 🤝 Today a new #HERA Info Day was held in Rome, providing a new opportunity to raise awareness of the role and rules of the Health #Emergency and #Preparedness Response Authority (HERA; EU in Emergencies) and explore synergies and networking with other stakeholders, share ideas, and forge new partnerships. 🩺#Cluster1 #NCPs and #EU4Health #NFPs, representing their networks HNN3.0 and NFP4 HEALTH, participated and eagerly supported the dissemination of the event. 🗣️ As per the words of HERA Director Laurent Muschel, new challenges like the #AvianFlu, #vector-born #diseases and the spreading of unstable #geopolitical situations require a better prepared #health system. It is HERA #mission to work hand-in-hand with industries, to support researchers to work on new #medicalcountermeasures and overall to go over the "valley of death" of medical preparedness The event have also seen the participation of the Director of the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) Marina Zanchi and the support of the HERA Policy Officers Angela Tessarolo and Ilaria Del Seppia For further information, the Agenda is available here: https://lnkd.in/dAtkT-wR The next HERA Info Day is expected to be held in Denmark, stay tuned for future infomations!

📢 📢 The Global Health EDCTP3 Partnership Work Programme 2025 has been launched! 📝 This Work Programme includes four calls for proposals covering seven topics, with a total budget of €214 million, specifically: • HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2025-01-two-stage covering 3 topics for Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) • HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2025-02-two-stage covering 1 topic for Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) • HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2025-03-two-stage covering 1 topic for Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) • HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2025-04-two-stage covering 2 topics Research and Innovation Actions (RIA). 📆 The Calls will open in late January 2025 and interested consortia will be able to submit a pre-proposal until March 2025 (first stage). 🔔 Stay tuned for the Info Days that will will be organised in the coming weeks!
