External users affiliated with universities, IRCCS, and public research entities can access our state-of-the-art technological hubs for free through open calls 👉 https://lnkd.in/d49j-WUX 🔬 HT National Facilities offer open access to cutting-edge technologies in the fields of genomics, genome engineering and disease modelling, imaging, structural biology, and data handling and analysis. 👩🔬 👨🔬 Our mission is to support the scientific community by providing access to advanced technologies and expertise, training programmes, and technology/method development projects, with the ultimate goal of increasing the impact of Italian research on an international level. 🔎 Access is granted based on the principles of scientific excellence, with the aim of supporting high-quality research. Each year in Italy, there are 5,000 new diagnoses of multiple myeloma. Our researchers from the Iorio Group, in collaboration with the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, have discovered and characterised a new potential target for treatment. Featured on TGR Leonardo (min 4.52).

🔬 A collaborative AIRC - Foundation for Cancer Research NGO study by our Francesco Iorio and colleagues from University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro identifies a long non-coding RNA as a potential therapeutic target for Multiple Myeloma. 📰 Published on the cover of Blood, this breakthrough opens new frontiers in cancer research and precision medicine.

🚀 And that's a wrap! The 2024 edition of our training course on technology transfer in the life sciences has come to an end, and what a journey it has been!   Organised by the HT Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer in the Life Sciences, this course brought together brilliant minds from across the field, offering participants valuable insights into the evolving landscape of tech transfer. A special thank you to Associazione Netval and Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori, Pavia for their support in making this course, and the lecturers for their lessons. Today, we also had the pleasure of hosting a workshop on HT and the National Facilities, the MIND Milano Innovation District ecosystem, and PerfeTTO Network, the Italian Technology Transfer Office Network in Life Science.
