Today is a great day. After months of hard work, we're finally announcing our new fund: Vento. Behind this announcement are plenty of small victories, some defeats, a few battles, a bit of luck, but most importantly, many contrarian choices. Here's one: I know hate speech gets all the clicks on social media, but this is a message of love. This fund was born from the belief that Italy has a real role to play in tech. From the idea that if you're talented in Italy, you don't need to leave. You can stay here or come back, and together we can build something great. And if you've decided to stay abroad because that's your path, you can still help us, and together we can change the narrative about our country. No, I'm not particularly patriotic, I'm just a believer that with the right people, anything is possible. And speaking of the right people, my biggest shoutout goes to those who made this journey possible, to my team without whom none of this would exist, to the people who stand by me even when they can't figure out where I'm heading, and to my 18-year-old self who worked so damn hard to earn what she has today (literally) – I wish I could tell her that every effort will pay off. And now it's time to build. Qomodo raises €13.5M Series A to revolutionize payments for Italian merchants! Qomodo, a fintech company transforming how merchants handle payments, has closed a €13.5 million Series A round. The funding was led by RTP Global and LMDV Capital, with participation from Proximity Capital, Primo Capital, and angel investors Niccolo Maisto, Michele Attisani, Vito Lomele, and Davide Fioranelli. Since 2023, Qomodo has helped quintuple the number of merchants served, onboard tens of thousands of customers, and manage millions in transactions. This is just the beginning—Qomodo is reshaping the future of payments for businesses across Italy.

Qomodo, the Milan-based “all-in-one” smart payment solution for physical merchants, announces it has raised €13.5 million in Series A funding in order to develop AI tools aimed at expanding its portfolio 🇮🇹 💶 The round was co-led by RTP Global and LMDV Capital, with participation from Proximity Capital, Primo Capital as well as other notable investors including the founders of FACEIT, Fiscozen and Freetrade (the latter through Lumen Ventures).
