📣 A new milestone achieved offshore Western Australia!  We have completed the installation of the Scarborough Energy Project trunkline. Saipem’s Castorone, one of the world's largest pipelaying vessels with one of the most advanced technologies, efficiently installed 433 km of pipeline and more than 36,000 lengths of pipe at a depth of up to 1,400 m. The trunkline will connect the Scarborough gas field to the onshore Pluto LNG production facility. 👏 Well done to the team for their competence and dedication!  We are pleased to have contributed to the achievement of this important milestone for an infrastructure that, once complete, will be one of the world’s lowest carbon sources of energy. Our Chairman, Board of Directors, CEO, and 80 senior managers have recently experienced a unique workshop that marked a new milestone in our “Leadership in Health & Safety” journey. Participants discussed and finalised our Safety Strategic Plan, which aims to further embed human performance principles in our operations. The event was held in the exceptional setting of the Calcinato Tunnel, part of the Brescia East-Verona High Speed/High Capacity Railway Line project, which we are executing for a new Italian infrastructure. It also included the presentation of the Saipem 2024 H&S Award, a particularly emotional moment that recognised the courage of some colleagues whose life-saving actions demonstrated that safety is a shared value throughout our organisation. The participants demonstrated their resolute commitment and passion. We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with GEOLOG International and ignis H2 Energy Inc. to develop advanced technological solutions and conduct feasibilities studies for new geothermal plants in Italy and globally. The agreement is part of our research and development program dedicated to offering technological solutions for energy transition, which includes geothermal energy, a renewable source that exploits the natural heat contained within the earth's sphere. Through our technical expertise and innovation capabilities, we aim to propose reliable and innovative solutions to support the development of this sector.
