A quarter-century in the sun celebrating Rocio Herrera! 25 years ago Rocio stepped into her first role at Sunglass Hut in El Paso. Fast forward to today, she's leaving her mark on every store she supports as Regional Manager for the Texas Border. An outstanding journey marked by incredible achievements, including recognition for top Sun Love protection Plan performance for three consecutive years. Rocio's passion for her work and her team is what keeps her going. Or, as she puts it, "It's my people. I love who I work with, even on some of the tough days, LOL! And with such amazing peers, I am always accepted for who I am and being my crazy self!" We're excited to see what Rocio will achieve next in her remarkable Sunglass Hut journey! #AlwaysInTheSun

We hosted an exclusive Versace pop-up event at several of our Sunglass Hut stores located in New York City, Florida, Texas, and Chicago. Attendees had the opportunity to customize Versace eyewear cases with their names as a complimentary gift with purchase — adding an extra touch of luxury and exclusivity to the shopping experience.

Sunglass Hut teamed up with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and The Fresh Air Fund to host a vision clinic serving underserved kids from all five boroughs of New York City in Fishkill, NY. Through this initiative, we were able to give over 300 eye exams and provide over 200 glasses to kids in need – setting them up for success for the back-to-school season. Wendy Cheng, Sunglass Hut Store Director and volunteer shared of her experience at the Fishkill clinic, “I got to experience firsthand what the power of good vision can immediately do for a child's confidence. Good vision has the power to unleash our full potential. To help us learn better, keep us safe and promote a more inclusive society. In the past weeks, Sunglass Hut brought the Summer campaign to life with exciting activations around the globe, such as a terrace event in Madrid (ES) and an influencer trip and pool party in Montauk (US), spreading style and seaside vibes worldwide. June was special for us! 😎🍦 We celebrated #NationalSunglassesDay at our 5th Avenue Flagship store by inviting our customers, influencers, and employees to shop new sunnies and enjoy ice cream plus sweet treats! We also partnered with Little Words Project, for a special gift with purchase and had Shanée Benjamin personalize sunglass travel cases in-store. #AlwaysInTheSun

From early on getting the chance to work in a store in London to leading as a Regional Manager in St. Louis, Matt Blanc is now charging into the corporate world. His journey at Sunglass Hut began in May 2005 in St. Louis, where he has since built a talented team. Now, he's joining the corporate team as the Manager of Operations at Sunglass Hut, bringing his passion and expertise to face new challenges. “I’ve been blessed at Sunglass Hut over the years. My proudest achievement is the team I’ve helped build and develop. I believe in finding new challenges and doing what you love, so I look forward to carrying on that work from the other side of the business. We are all one community, and the more we build from within, the stronger our culture is. If you continue to look for ways to grow yourself, Sunglass Hut grows with you. Find new challenges and do what you love.” We’re excited to see how Matt will continue to shine bright in his new role! #AlwaysInTheSun

Sunglass Hut teamed up with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation for a vision clinic in St. Louis, Missouri, that served 230 patients. We provided vision exams, prescription glasses and protective sunglasses to those in need. Sunglass Hut Manager, Heather Miller shared her experience working with the Foundation, “I believe in everything the OneSight does. Sunglass Hut has brought a summer vibe to the SEA region with vibrant pop-ups in Singapore and Malaysia. These SUMMER beach houses offer engaging activities, gifts, ice cream treats, and an eyewear style guide, creating a perfect seasonal celebration for consumers to enjoy the season in style.

We are excited to announce Brianna Police's promotion to Assistant Manager at our Yorktown Lombard, Illinois store. Brianna enjoys building relationships and she adores her customers.
