🌏 ⭐️ We’re thrilled to share that the sensor-driven avatars we co-developed with Ars Electronica Futurelab captivated many visitors at the Ars Electronica Festival 2024! This project is part of the collaborative initiative between Godot and Ars Electronica Futurelab called Collective Transformation Lab. In today’s biggest challenges like climate protection and combating infectious diseases, Collective Action Problems (CAPs) arise when short-term individual interests conflict with long-term collective benefits. This project aims to explore how we can shift from top-down public incentives to individual-centered approaches in preventing infectious diseases, based on latest research findings concerning CAPs. 🔬 Our installation used sensors to make the mosquito avatar🦟 and human avatars interactive. 🎮 The dialogues with the avatars are both data-driven and science-informed. Visitors engaged in immersive gameplay powered by generative AI and sensor technology to see how their actions can prevent disease and foster community solidarity. 🤝 A huge thank you to all the amazing people involved in this project! We are getting ready and fired up for the 2024 Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria! Over the next five days, we—together with artists and scientists from around the world—will engage a wide audience with exhibitions, installations, performances, and discussions centered around this year's theme: "HOPE - Who Will Turn the Tide?" In collaboration with the Ars Electronica Futurelab, we have created an interactive installation that highlights the importance of discovering new ways to educate ourselves and address large-scale collective action problems. By combining behavioral science, AI, and modern sensor technology, we guide participants on a playful journey where they can influence the fate of the entire festival in an immersive and personalized way. 🔬 Godot Selected for Japan Patent Office's and Kobe's 2024 IP Management Support Program! 🔬 We are thrilled to announce that Godot Inc. has been selected as a recipient of the support program under the "FY2024 Kobe City Intellectual Property Management Support Model Regional Creation Project" by the Japan Patent Office and Kobe City. This initiative, newly launched by the Japan Patent Office in 2024, aims to foster regional growth and revitalization through the strategic use of intellectual property. Among the three regions designated as "Intellectual Property Priority Support Areas," Kobe City—the only designated ordinance-designated city and home to Godot—has been chosen. Following the agreement at the regional collaboration meeting held on July 19, 2024, Godot Inc. was selected as one of the companies to receive support through the open innovation support service led by a project producer.
