What a brilliant brainwork at #AEC #hackathon in #Zurich! exploring the power and possibilities of #opensource nearly 200 of global digital does under one roof, tackling AEC pressing issues, exchanging thoughts & sharing experiences. Howie's co-founders: Yannick Koitzsch, hacked building regulation matrix, challenge led by Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA) , winning one of the main 4 prices! best #Hack for #Humans Their team worked on the problem we all face; how to make sense of all building regulations, guidance and codes. They employed #LLM to provide users with straightforward guidance, simplifying the process. whilst, Ewa Lenart joined the team of EBP, working on an applied case study, tackling another evergreen AEC issue; how to get an instant and labour-free drafting views of highly complex IFC files (3d to 2d). Exploring various conversations surrounding the contemporary significance of 2D, including its role in comprehensive construction documentation, within the context of today's digital environment.
