Building on our ongoing Ramadhan engagements, our leadership team, with support from our Coast Region team hosted an Iftar dinner for our esteemed clients, sharing in an evening of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. This special gathering was a celebration of the values that define this Holy Month - generosity, unity, and inclusivity. Our ongoing Ramadhan donations tour has landed us at the Coast, where we continue to share the spirit of the Holy Month with those in need. Today, alongside the Absa La Riba Banking team and the Absa Kenya Foundation, we had the privilege of visiting the Pwani One Shilling Foundation in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross, where we donated various foodstuffs and other supplies to benefit vulnerable families in the community. We were honoured to be joined by our leadership team, including our Chief Finance Officer, Yusuf Omari, our Business Banking Director Elizabeth Wasunna - Ochwa, our Marketing and Corporate Affairs Director Mwihaki Wachira, our Customer Network & Distribution Director Peter Mutua, and our Head of La Riba Banking Tego Wolasa, AFIIBI, as well as our Regional Manager Coast, Fathiya Noordeen, reaffirming our commitment to making a meaningful impact. Through this initiative, we are spreading cheer across the country - ensuring over 800 households and 2,400 individuals in Nairobi, Garissa, Kisumu, Isiolo, Bungoma, Eldoret, Murang’a, Kajiado, Oyugis, and Nkurumah receive essential food supplies this Ramadhan.
