We promote progressive taxation systems in Africa
About us
Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA) is a Pan-African organisation and a member of the Global Alliance for Tax Justice. It is a network of 32 members in 16 African countries with whom collaboration focuses on tax justice advocacy at the national and regional levels. TJNA seeks to promote socially just and progressive taxation systems in Africa, advocating for pro-poor tax policies and the strengthening of tax systems to promote domestic resource mobilisation. TJNA aims to challenge harmful tax policies and practices that favour the wealthy and aggravate and perpetuate inequality. This account publicises the activities Tax Justice Network Africa implements with co-funding from several partners. Its contents are the sole responsibility of Tax Justice Network Africa and do not necessarily reflect the views of Tax Justice Network Africa's partners.
