VCE joins other partners, stakeholders, and government towards zero tolerance towards FGM. This year's theme is "Stepping up the pace: Strengthening alliances and building movements to end FGM". It calls for collaboration and partnership to achieve this. It urges girls, boys, men, women, youth, survivors, communities, and governmental and non-governmental organizations and sectors to take action. By joining forces, these diverse actors form a united global movement working to dismantle harmful norms and ensure a future free from FGM. Female genital mutilation violates fundamental human rights and can result in complications from detrimental physical and psychological as well as social and economic impacts lasting throughout childhood, reproductive years, and old age. Today, over 230 million girls and women worldwide are FGM survivors. The stakes are high: an estimated 27 million additional girls are at risk of undergoing FGM in the next five years. In 2025 alone, nearly 4.4 million girls are projected to be at risk. To prevent such needless suffering, we must invest in resources, foster open discussions, and challenge the social norms that perpetuate FGM. As agents of change, everyone has a role in ensuring girls grow up free from this harmful practice. WezaCare Solutions Family for Every Child Family Care Network, Inc. About us
Victory Child Empowerment (VCE) Kenya is a Christian-based non-profit organization founded in 2019 through the initiative of Caleb International Ministries, Pennsylvania, Watson Institute, Denver, and the Royal Excellence Center, Kenya. The organization was formed due to an influx of children into residential care and also the mushrooming of orphanages in the region. VCE was registered in 2021 as a not-for-profit community-based organization in Kisii County, Kenya. Victory Child Empowerment was formed with the main aim being to enhance care reform in Kisii County. Care reform entails ensuring that children stay and thrive in safe and nurturing families. The organization’s main activities include family preservation and prevention from separation, transition of care, child and family reintegration, alternative family care, parenting, case management, household economic strengthening, and spiritual growth. VCE works with the Department of Children's Services, Department of Social Services, National Council for People with Disabilities, Ministry of Education, County Government of Kisii, and all partners supporting children, families, and community services.

We join the rest of the World in Celebrating the International Day Of Education 2025. This year marks the seventh year of the celebration with the theme 'AI and education: Preserving human agency in a world of automation. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to address some of the biggest challenges in education today, innovate teaching and learning practices, and accelerate progress towards SDG 4. However, rapid technological developments inevitably bring multiple risks and challenges, which have so far outpaced policy debates and regulatory frameworks. The human agency and face must be in the picture to promote real learning. #AIEducation2025 #HumanAgencyInAI #AIforLearning #EducationForAll #SDG4Progress #InnovateWithAI #AIandHumanity #FutureOfLearning #TechAndEducation #HumanFaceInAI #AIForBetterEducation #LearningInTheAgeOfAI #EdTechInnovation #AIInEducation2025

Our women empowerment program supported by New Hope Girls towards mitigation and eradication of Sexual and Gender-based Violence among girls and young women in Kisii County distributed sanitaryware, school materials and fees, food items, and mentorship sessions in one of the Charitable Children Institutions that we work with in Kenya. Thank you Joy Reyes for the support and DonorSee for making this possible. We look forward to walking with these girls till they finish school, get the necessary skills, and be empowered to reduce vulnerabilities and promote self-reliance. As 2024 concludes, Victory Child Empowerment proudly reflects on a year of remarkable achievements that reaffirm our dedication to empowering children and families. Through strong partnerships, we have amplified our efforts, collaborating with government agencies, community organizations, and global stakeholders. Together, we have strengthened care reform systems, ensuring every child can grow up in a loving, supportive family environment. These collaborations have been instrumental in driving sustainable solutions and fostering community resilience. Harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) has gained momentum. Through targeted campaigns and community engagement, we’ve raised awareness, shifted perspectives, and empowered communities to protect the dignity and rights of girls. We have equipped families with tools and resources to create nurturing environments. Parenting programs, life skills training, and economic empowerment initiatives have enhanced family stability, fostering brighter and more secure futures. We are deeply grateful to our partners, supporters, and the communities we serve for their trust and collaboration. Together, we are building a world where every child is valued, protected, and empowered to thrive. Thank you for being part of our story and for championing this mission.
