  • Reminiscing on the first #BalticAutomotiveForum and the thoughts of Mrs. Hildegard Müller that today are even more important than they were yesterday.

President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA)

Managing Director @Baltic Automotive & Mobility Cluster | fostering business relationships across the #automotive industry | Automotive Forum 2024 |

The first quarter of the 2025 was quite busy. I am thankful for the opportunity to represent BACC, Baltic Automotive Components Cluster at the European level. Sometimes the opportunities tend to present themselves in least expected ways. But thanks to some good strategic partnerships and little bit of luck we have recently become a member of CLEPA - European Association of Automotive Suppliers and with that, we have a seat in CLEPA's Board of Directors. My wish here is to present the undiscovered part of the market and a very strong potential for strategic alliances. In these turbulent times for the European economy, I believe our innate resilience and proven ability to thrive in crises can serve as a guiding beacon ⛯ I look very much forward for the opportunities this step would create for BACC. 🚗⚙️ The outlook for automotive manufacturing is increasingly challenging— a palpable reality in the Baltic countries as well. While companies keep investing in electrification and digitalisation, the overall climate is uncertain. At the same time, automotive is more than just manufacturing, and aftermarket and mobility services can offer new opportunities. But to seize them, we need a regulatory framework that allows fair access for third parties, start-ups, and scale-ups.   🔎 Join Benjamin Krieger, CLEPA Secretary General, as he discusses these pressing topics at BACC, Baltic Automotive Components Cluster and gain insights into how the industry can navigate these challenges.   Session info:  📅 27 March, 14:55 CET  📍 Vilnius    Register here!👉 https://lnkd.in/evqePHne

  • Congratulations to METEC, part of Martin Group, on its 20th anniversary!  We wish you success, growth, and endless energy in achieving your goals. Your professionalism, innovation, and responsible approach are the keys to sustainable business development and new opportunities. In 2025, after the downturn in 2024, the company is returning to the pace of orders and expansion seen in 2023! 📈 The number of orders has increased by approximately 25%, and the company’s upcoming plans include expanding production capacity. UAB METEC is pleased with the increase in orders, operating solely on a made-to-order basis. Employees are working in two shifts to ensure timely delivery to customers. According to UAB METEC's CEO, Eduard Gurskij “The only thing missing now is more employees—because with increased production capacity, the company could fulfill an even greater number of orders.” ⚡ The construction of a solar power plant has already begun, with completion planned for the end of summer. This project is yet another example of a steadily growing and sustainable business. We wish you continued growth and long-term partnerships! #UABMetec #20YearsStrong #Growth #Innovation #Sustainability #BusinessSuccess
