Nemunaičiai community welcomes the New Bridge! 🌉 Today, it's a celebration in the SBA Urban project Nemunaičiai neighborhood as the City of Kaunas officially marked the start of construction for the new pedestrian bridge from the left bank of the Nemunas River to Nemunas Island. The groundbreaking ceremony featured the symbolic burying of a time capsule, officially kicking off the main construction phase of the 258-meter-long bridge. The Nemunaičiai community joined in the festivities, offering warm wishes for a successful project and presenting a homemade apple pie. "Kaunas is becoming a hub of progress and growth in Lithuania. Visitors to the city can't believe how quickly and beautifully the new Kaunas is developing, with so many positive changes and a vibrant atmosphere. Delivering for our investors! 🤝 SBA Urban's subsidiary UAB Kopų Slėnis has successfully redeemed a €3.3 million private bond issue, which was used for the development of a prime resort apartment project in Palanga. "We offered investors an opportunity to participate in a high-quality and liquid project in an exclusive seaside location in Lithuania. With SBA Urban team successfully and promptly completing the development, we justified the trust of more than 50 investors in the project, who realized a 9% annual return" says Kasparas Juška, Head of Investments at SBA Urban. While the bond issue terms allowed to borrow up to €6.5 million, due to successful sales in the project only a part of the issue – €3.3 million – was raised over two stages. Bonds were secured by real estate and shares of the project company. Currently, most residents have already moved into the apartments at Kopų Slėnis, and over 90% of the properties have been sold! The total investment in the project, environment, and infrastructure has exceeded €10 million. Only three opportunities remain to settle in the Kopų Slėnis by the seaside in Kunigiškiai! Strong investor confidence!🌊 The SBA Urban’s Windy Town has successfully placed the first tranche of its EUR 1 million public bond issue in just 3 hours. A total of €5 million worth of bonds will be offered to investors in several rounds. "Over this year, we have seen that SBA Urban's projects are attractive to a wide range of investor profiles. The bond issue for Windy Town, which was placed in just 3 hours and attracted much interest from investors, only confirms the confidence of the market. The first tranche of the issue attracted 184 investments, with an average investment amount of 5 435 euros. We plan to continue to offer investment opportunities in SBA's projects, including Vėjo miestelis, in the future," says Kasparas Juška, Head of Investments at SBA Urban. "We see that investors value the reputation of SBA Group and the ambitious Windy Town project. The first tranche of the bond issue of 1 million euro, was subscribed in just a few hours, which shows the active interest of the market. Investments were available from €1,000 and the maximum amount invested was €80,000. We can feel the growing investor engagement and confidence in the BeMyBond bond platform, which is encouraging, as this is exactly what we aim to offer to the market in terms of good quality investment projects," says Indre Dargyte, CAIA, BeMyBond CEO. The public bond issue, secured by a first rank mortgage on the assets of the project under development and the company's shares pledged as collateral, offered investors the opportunity to purchase securities worth EUR 1 million. An annual interest rate of 9.25% was offered. Windy Town is a 36-hectare development in Svencelė that blends active living, recreation, and work. Planned by SBA in five phases, the project will be completed by 2031 and include 250 individual houses. What sets Windy Town apart is its commitment to green spaces, with over 93% of the area dedicated to parks, recreational areas, and public spaces. The development will feature a central park with a pond, a commercial area with cafes, shops, and restaurants, sports fields, and a harbour.
