Deadline 26 September 2024: The FNR is pleased to announce a pilot collaboration with NRF, the National Research Foundation of the Republic of Korea. The goal is to create new and strengthen existing bilateral cooperation networks and expand opportunities for future research cooperation efforts by promoting joint research between Korea and Luxembourg. https://lnkd.in/dT_SGHmn

“Understanding the past helps not to be overwhelmed by the present." Over the last 20 years, Sonja Kmec has been promoting historical literacy. The cultural historian has worked on projects grounded in political and social history, with a particular focus on gender relations and migration, also looking at identity construction in Luxembourg. The FNR is pleased to announce the Call for talented young researchers to participate as Luxembourg delegates at the 74th edition of the renowned Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings in Lindau, Germany. The meeting takes place from 29 June to 4 July 2025, and is dedicated to Chemistry. Deadline to apply is Tuesday, 15 October 2024. Pre-announcement: The 8th Lindau Meeting of the Laureates of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, which will take place from 26 to 30 August 2025.
