Events are pivotal in driving B2B marketing growth, yet traditional success metrics often fall short. Enter event-led growth (ELG) — a transformative strategy prioritizing win rates over only attendance. ELG shifts the focus to genuine human interactions that traditional sales-led (SLG) and product-led (PLG) growth strategies miss. At Lodago, our features support this innovative approach, enhancing event impact and delivering measurable results. Embrace ELG to revolutionize your marketing strategy.

When it comes to events like trade shows, don’t underestimate the impact of a good coffee. Sometimes, we invest heavily in goodies, but a simple, well-brewed coffee can do wonders. It’s a great way to rally people, spark conversations, and make networking easier. Next time you're planning an event, consider investing in quality coffee. It might just be the key to better connections and a more engaging atmosphere.

We're thrilled to share some insights from our Sales Director, David, following #BlackHat2024: "BlackHat 2024 was a great learning experience for myself and our growing Sales team. Despite being a global organization with employees spread across three continents, our Sales team was able to gather in Las Vegas on just my third week in the role (week one for our newest AE John). The learning curve is always steep in a new role and being remote seems to make it even steeper. Being able to see Lodago’s Sales motion in action and ask questions in real time is an invaluable experience for our new team. I'm especially grateful to Ivan Grisedale and Gabriella Benarroch for taking the time to train us live on the trade show floor. BlackHat was also a fantastic place to connect with industry leaders and innovators. I’m excited to continue growing Lodago’s Sales team and for more opportunities to get together in person and spread the gospel of Lodago Events!"

Effective meeting management can make or break your event. Here’s how to master it: 1. Plan ahead: clearly define roles, expectations, and objectives for each meeting to ensure alignment and focus. A well-structured agenda helps keep the meeting on track and productive. 2. Leverage technology: use automated meeting management tools for seamless scheduling, automatic reminders, and streamlined follow-ups. This reduces the risk of no-shows and keeps everything organized, freeing you from the back-and-forth of email coordination. Check out Lodago Events to learn more about this. 3. Measure ROI: track meeting outcomes, attendee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of your event. Real-time analytics provide insights into what’s working and what needs improvement. 4. Engage participants: foster active participation by sending pre-meeting materials and discussion topics to attendees beforehand. This ensures everyone is prepared and can contribute meaningfully, leading to more productive meetings. 5. Optimize meeting durations: tailor the length of meetings to their specific purpose—shorter for quick updates, longer for detailed discussions. This helps maintain focus and energy, ensuring time is used efficiently. 6. Facilitate follow-ups: after meetings, promptly share notes, action items, and key takeaways with attendees. This maintains momentum and accountability, ensuring that discussions lead to tangible outcomes. 7. Incorporate feedback: regularly gather and analyze attendee feedback to continuously improve your meeting processes. Understanding what worked and what didn’t helps you refine future meetings and enhance overall event experiences. 8. Utilize data analytics: leverage real-time data to monitor meeting attendance, engagement, and outcomes. This allows for agile adjustments during the event and provides valuable insights for future planning. 9. Ensure clear communication: keep all attendees informed about meeting details, updates, and changes. Clear communication prevents misunderstandings and ensures that everyone is on the same page, leading to smoother interactions. 10. Allocate buffer time: schedule breaks between meetings to prevent burnout and enhance focus. This not only improves the quality of discussions but also allows participants to recharge and be more engaged in subsequent meetings. Implementing these strategies will elevate your event management, leading to more effective meetings, stronger engagement, and better overall outcomes.
