2024 was an incredible year celebrating the passion of our spotter community at Luxembourg Airport! To strengthen our connections and share our enthusiasm, we launched the monthly "Plane Spotter Afterwork Club", held every first Thursday of the month – a perfect opportunity for enthusiasts to meet, connect, and engage. A major highlight of 2024 was the Spotter Awareness Training, topped off with the special accredited spotter ceremony in December. Together with our partners Unity Foundation and Thalus Water, we had the incredible opportunity to present and share the mission of our joint project, #SocialWater, at the FEDIL - The Voice of Luxembourg's Industry New Year’s Reception 2025🎉. New passenger record!   Friday, 20 December 2024, was not only the busy day before Christmas but also marked a very significant milestone for the airport: we welcomed our 5 millionth passenger in 2024, more than ever before in the airport's almost 80-year history. And a doubling of passenger numbers in the last 10 years. No question: this event had to be celebrated.
