The Pedu Reservoir connects directly to Sungai Besar, ultimately supplying the Pelubang Water Treatment Plant, which has recently been upgraded to process over 500 MLD of treated water daily. Through the upgraded Pelubang WTP, a new pipeline has been installed, extending fresh water directly from Pelubang to Delapan. New pipelines mean fewer interruptions, reduced leakage, minimized disruptions, and lower levels of non-revenue water, hence a more reliable water supply. In collaboration with the State Government, we are also working on an additional WTP near Kubang Pasu, projected to produce at least 150 MLD of water. This will further enhance the overall water supply reliability for Delapan. To safeguard against any potential interruptions, Delapan is equipped with an internal reservoir capable of storing 50 MLD of water. Additionally, we’ve taken an extra step by developing an on-site surface storage facility to hold an additional 10 MLD for users. At Delapan, we’re entrepreneurs just like you, and we understand that consistent water supply is crucial for maintaining productive business operations without external disruptions. 😉
