By integrating an established plant and its operations, we are not only boosting our production capacity but also accelerating our innovation capabilities. OSK Group announced its financial results for the first half of the year ended 30 June 2024 today, reporting a total revenue of RM736.4 million, showing a slight increase from RM730.6 million in the preceding year (1H2023). The pre-tax profit increased by 4%, reaching RM282.8 million compared to RM271.9 million in the same period last year. Our first-half results reflect the strength of our diversified business model and the success of our strategic initiatives. The steady growth in the Property, Hospitality and Financial Services Segments, alongside consistent performance in other areas, reaffirms our progress towards building solid, sustainable businesses across all our business verticals. Rooted in Nature: A Day of Green Action!   OSK Foundation organized an event at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) in Kepong. It has been fruitful effort in cultivating environmental stewardship and community engagement among OSKers including those who brought along their children for a green-themed family outing.   This initiative has deepened our knowledge and appreciation of forest conservation efforts with the insightful sharing from FRIM especially during the hands-on experience of eco-rooting activities and witnessing the rare natural scenery in a guided tour of the FRIM’s man-made tropical forestry.   “It was my first time joining an OSK Foundation event. I have enjoyed it very much! I will spend more time being involved in future events to give back to society,“ said Teo Ai Chinn, one of our OSKers volunteers. Ong Yee Suen added, “This was an informative event and a precious experience, being able to take part in the conservation efforts of FRIM, the world’s largest and oldest man-made forest.”   Big thanks to OSKers who have shed sweat and rolled up their sleeves to take a major step closer to nature. OSK Holdings’ capital financing set for solid growth OSK Holdings Bhd is seeing a strong growth in capital financing, which recorded a pre-tax profit of RM26.1mil in the first quarter of 2024 (1Q24). This is an increase of 13.6% quarter-on-quarter and 41.8% year-on-year, said Hong Leong Investment Bank (HLIB) Research. Following a recent meeting with OSK’s management, the research firm said growth prospects for the segment remain strong, anchored by Australia and the civil servant segment.
