✨ Over 40 educators and students from seven Aurora partner universities gathered in the stunning Austrian landscape 🌄 for a week of sharing insights and innovative ideas for the Sustainability & Climate Change, Culture: Diversities & Identities Educational Hub Event hosted by Universität Innsbruck. The week culminated in a 3MT (Three-Minute Thesis) competition, where participants presented their research in just three minutes, supported by one static slide. 🌍✨ A Transformative One-Week Retreat within the Educational Hub Event for Emerging and Established Scholars Has Begun! 🎓 Kicked off last Sunday, October 20th, participants from 7 different Aurora partner universities and diverse disciplines have gathered in the stunning autumnal alpine setting of Matrei, Austria. 🍂🏔️ During this week-long retreat, both emerging and established scholars will immerse themselves in: 🔹 (Further) development and exchange of research questions 🔹 Collaborative project skills 🔹 Science communication through diverse tools 🔹 Effective communication of complex Ideas 🔹 Interactive sessions focused on mastering constructive feedback 🔹 Navigating diverse knowledge domains and fostering interdisciplinary connections across Aurora Educational Hubs and universities. The retreat is hosted by Universität Innsbruck and facilitated by Melanie Bartos and Suzanne Whitby from the Universität Innsbruck, Kenmoe Stephane, Barbara Buchenau and Florian Freitag from the University of Duisburg-Essen, and Toby Erik Wikström, PhD from the University of Iceland (Háskóli Íslands).
