  • Last week, we spent time with fellow B Corps in Amsterdam, meeting companies that are redefining what it means to do business responsibly. Becoming a B Corp was an important step for Chargetrip. We’ve always believed that climate tech can be both impactful and profitable, and certification reinforced that commitment. Always a pleasure to meet good people doing good things (with good food). Looking forward to the next one!⚡

  • A good EV app doesn’t just help drivers charge, it keeps them coming back. We asked Jesús Muelas Párraga from Repsol why they use Chargetrip. Here’s what he had to say. Why is routing important for your business? "Routing makes our app more attractive, and users now use it for more purposes than just charging. It also helps them explore areas they wouldn’t have considered before." How do you guide customers to the best charging options? "We built a feature using Chargetrip’s routing API that shows two routes: one with all CPOs and one with only our main CPO stations for our very loyal users." What’s the biggest challenge Chargetrip has helped you solve? "At first, it was range anxiety. Now, it’s about giving drivers freedom and showing them all their charging possibilities along the way." What benefits have you seen from using CPO preferences? "We differentiate routes between any CPO and those in our loyalty program, helping our users get better prices." Chargetrip helps Repsol give drivers more control over their charging experience—making their app more engaging, their loyalty program more valuable, and EV travel more seamless. • 72% of renters are more likely to choose an EV after using Chargetrip’s route planner. That’s because routing removes the biggest barrier to renting electric, and that is uncertainty. Where to charge, how far the car can go, and whether they’ll make it to their destination are all questions that make drivers hesitate. And a route planner answers them before they even get in the car. Routing isn’t just about making EV rentals easier for drivers, it’s also a way for rental companies to take control of charging. With routing tools, rental companies can: - Guide drivers to preferred charging stations instead of leaving it to chance. - Optimize where drivers charge to improve station partnerships and cost control. - Create a smoother rental experience by removing confusion around charging. • Want to drive foot traffic and sales at your retail locations? Send EV drivers right to them. Every month, EV drivers spend 800,000+ hours charging (just from routes planned with Chargetrip). And in retail, dwell time means sales. When EV drivers stop to charge, they’re looking for places to grab food, coffee, or essentials. But drivers don’t stop at random, they use route planners to plan their trips ahead of time. Retailers that integrate routing can take control of those stops—turning charging time into store visits. They can use routing to: - Help EV drivers find charging near their locations. - Make their stores a natural stop on every charging route. - Turn charging time into foot traffic, and foot traffic into sales. Fast chargers boost in-store spending by 5%. EV drivers are already stopping, so make sure it’s at your store. Learn more about how routing can drive retail foot traffic. Link in comments 👇

  • Where do you want drivers to charge? Regardless of the answer to this question, if you HAVE an answer, then Chargetrip can help. With CPO Preferences, you can set an invisible bias in the routing algorithm to guide drivers toward stations that make the most sense for your business. More sessions, more revenue, and more control over how and where charging happens. Here’s how it works: - Promote your own network by prioritizing your stations over others. - Avoid unreliable operators by excluding them from route suggestions. - Send drivers to your most profitable stations to maximize station utilization. - Route drivers to stations next to retail locations, driving foot traffic and creating additional revenue opportunities. Promoting your own stations doesn’t just drive more sessions—it also improves the driver experience. Our routing experiments show that preferring your stations often lowers costs for drivers without adding meaningful detours. Want to use CPO preferences to route your drivers? CEO @ Chargetrip - Helping drivers find their next charge stop

A super special moment. After a year of research and development, Chargetrip just launched its next generation EV routing engine. And it’s a free upgrade for all existing customers. This new version represents a major leap forward, enhancing our ability to meet growing demand from fleets and dramatically improving our calculation speeds. On average, route computations are now 300% faster—and given how complex EV routing is, that is not an easy feat. There’s more beneath the surface than you realize. For each route Chargetrip calculates, we need to... Predict precise energy consumption: • Using over 20 variables, like vehicle type, road incline, weather, and speed limits, dynamically adjusted for each road segment.    Evaluate thousands of route combinations: • To match energy needs, driver preferences, and business rules.    Account for real-time factors: • Including traffic, live station availability, climate control, and cargo weight.    Optimize routes: • Balancing trip time, energy efficiency, cost, and environmental impact, powered by in-house algorithms built for speed and scalability. And we now do this in less than a second on average. We also dramatically increased our ability to process large amounts of route calculations simultaneously (x25!). This is especially important when supporting fleets with large volumes of complex route requests with multiple drop-off points. But this is just the beginning. We’ve got new features in the pipeline that will give customers even more control and flexibility over their routes, including global EV routing and charging for trucks. Try it today on Chargetrip GO - link in comments 👇

  • Are you customers still full of range anxiety? Let’s fix that. Meet Chargetrip Range Mapping ⚡ It’s not just about how far an EV can go, it’s about showing drivers what their real-world range looks like—visually, clearly, and practically. Here’s how it works: • Select your EV: Choose a vehicle model and starting point. • Factor in real conditions: Elevation, speed, weather, climate control—our calculations adjust to reality, not just WLTP estimates. • Visualize it: Make range easy-to understand, so drivers know exactly where they can go. Because range isn’t just a number. Then why tell when you can show? Build it your way: • Need it fast? Go for the No-Code option - no dev team required. • Want control? Build it into your system with our GraphQL API. Range Mapping gives EV drivers the clarity they need to hit the road without hesitation. Ready to bring it to your platform?
