We are pleased to announce the publication of our Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for the Ebusco 3.0 12-metre and 18-metre buses! At Ebusco, we are committed to transparency and sustainability. With the publication of our EPDs, we demonstrate a comprehensive overview of the low carbon footprint of our 3.0 buses from cradle to grave. This assessment includes the environmental impact of material gathering, manufacturing, the use phase and the (non-)recyclable and recoverable components. Together with TNO, we were able to assess the entire lifecycle and validate our dedication to sustainability. This assessment shows 74% of the 12-metre Ebusco 3.0’s carbon footprint comes from its downstream phase (use phase, maintenance, and end-of-life). Our lightweight composite bus proves to have a low energy consumption, positively impacting the primary contributor to the carbon footprint (downstream).
