GOGLA, Clean Energy Access Network, Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), and UNDP in India co-organized a "Consultation on Integrating Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) Livelihood Technologies in Maharashtra" in Mumbai. The event explored critical policy issues to expanding #DRE, evaluated existing state policies, and identified the urgent need for new regulations to support #PURE initiatives. Participants also discussed innovative financing models to reduce barriers for stakeholders and create a sustainable energy ecosystem. Maharashtra holds immense potential for DRE growth.
